Do not spam E, just ult from max range and E when you are over the champ, you can even choose the direction you E1 dash to

if you time your E well, you'll throw it before even reaching the enemy and double back on the R dash - this will make it so you don't deal the R1 damage, but it's amazing for setting up tower dives

The real balancing factor is that they can't resist following up on the E, no matter what.

I've played so many games where I'm fed out of my mind in top, and every time Akali hits me with her E I just stand there, waiting.
She could get away easily, she's far more mobile than I am and a good distance away. But she _still_ does the second part, she *just can't* resist it, and then she obviously dies horribly.

As a former Akali otp. Her E is one of the reason I left her... it deals way to much dmg which makes passive management a waste of time because you can just one shot with R E E R.

Fun Fact, you also have to turn off "quick cast with indicator" to remove the indicator so it activates on press rather than on release

If u want to be more specific, just use ur É once the cast time, that appears above ur skills, has ended. This allows u to use E or Q, and has some funky interactions to use 2 Q's for the price of one

You can also E back into the direction you came from if you do it from actual max range

As an akali main, if you are too close from this range and in shroud (as shown in the clip) (Q)-E-R-(passive towards ring ms)-(P)aa-Q-E2-R is a R2 full conq stacks combo that is easy to pull off and especially since you can dodge enemy cc (you're visible cause you left your W) with hextech to the side and then E2.

when you ult from close u can just spam e to the left or right, depending o where they’re dodging, as long as you don’t use r on top of them and you don’t throw your e to where they were when u ulted, you’ll hit e unless they flash, e hitbox is big enough to make it hard for them to dodge it

As an ex akali main with more than 2 years of experience, i can say that there are some other more reliable combos
Ult from max range and E in the opposite direction(literally lock your camera and spam r e and its done) and you are close enough to use passive and then use w and e(w for speed) aaand you can 1 shot bruisers with that because you are getting 1 more passive

I like to weave an AA when landing the R to proc the passive once and then once more with the E for more damage. Of course it's no longer a "can't miss" situation but margin of error is still small and it's flashy

If you aren't at R max range you can do R Q max range that with the slow helps you hit E, then E again, aa QR
