So happy that things turned out the way they did! My father was also struck down with a kink in his intestines and he died. I'm told it's one of the worst pains you can have. They had my father heavily medicated. My dad and I were there for my mom when she passed away. I felt it was extremely important that I be there for him when he passed away. Both gone by the time I was 21 year's old.
