In the 2000's Bob Barker retired from Price is Right, in 2020 we lose Alex Trebek of Jeopardy (god bless both of these wonderful men), and here and now, Pat Sajak rides off into the sunset retiring from Wheel of Fortune. Game shows will never be the same without these men. Happy Trails, Pat! You've earned a happy retirement! God bless ya!

Pat is right, the beauty of the show was that it was just the game. No politics, no anger, hardly even any competitive feeling. Just people and puzzles.

My brother was on Wheel of Fortune, he won the entire thing and put himself through to his Master's Degree. God be praised.

The last of the OG game show hosts throws in the towel. This is truly the end of an era, not just with The Wheel, but for gameshow history in general.

This was my mom's favorite show to watch. She passed away from cancer six months ago. Even up until her last week alive, she watched this show. Thank you, Pat.

1996 I came here in the US all by myself. My family’s in the Philippines. I was so depressed and crying all day until my Grandma turn the TV on Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. It became a habit and I would say it helps me on my depression for I knew I have something to look forward to everyday. Thank you Mr. Pat Sajak and Mr. Alex Trebek you made me feel like a family.

My Mom is 93 and still watches the show faithfully. She's still quite good at solving puzzles. Thank you, Pat. Enjoy the rest of your life.

I admire his humility in shifting the focus away from himself and acknowledging the contributions of others, including the audience.
