Ryan Seacrest takes a spin as new 'Wheel of Fortune' host

After more than 40 years, the game show "Wheel of Fortune" has a new host, someone with a long resume of popular TV and radio programs: Ryan Seacrest. He talks with correspondent Luke Burbank about his improbable life's journey from Dunwoody, Ga., to Hollywood, and hosting a TV institution. Burbank also talks with "Wheel" regular Vanna White about finding the chemistry with her new hosting partner.

I listened to Star 98.7 in Los Angeles back in the late '90s, and I listened to Seacrest before I watched American Idol for the first time in 2002. He is the best in TV and radio and I am very proud of the work that he is doing.

Ryan definitely has his TV voice when on TV, and then he has his regular voice when being interviewed or just normal conversation. I like him a lot and I think he's a perfect fit for this!

I still miss seeing Pat Sajak tellinh contestants that they won a trip, Pat Sajak and Vanna White reacting to the international Wheel Of Fortune shows, Pat Sajak and Vanna White talking about other cities and countries that they're at, Pat Sajak interviewing Wheel Of Fortune contestants, Pat Sajak telling contestants that they're going to solve the prize puzzle, etc. 📺📺📺📺📺☹️☹️☹️

I remember one episode of Live! Where he looked straight up exhausted. People were really concerned. He took time off.

Feels like he burns out really fast with so many jobs, that’s why he left Live!, E!, etc.

He really doesn’t need to work this much. New years and Wheel and that should be it.
