Red maple trees are sometimes ignored as crop trees for maple production due to several persistent beliefs, including that they produce lower yields than sugar maple trees. This study quantified the total annual yields from red maple trees to examine this empirically.

When are the results from the flavor study going to be released? I still haven’t seen anything regarding the secondary study.

Does UVM know of any research on Norway Maples? I'm out west and that's all we've really got in my area. Granted I'm a hobby operation with 12 taps, but would still be beneficial to know if there's stuff out there.
