I think it all comes down to personal preference. Both have goods and bads, it's just about what you prefer. Some people don't like how live resin uses solvents, while others don't care. Some people prefer live resin cause it's cheaper, but if money isn't an issue I personally would go with live rosin.

there is a bigger difference, in live rosin there is trichome selection and the trichome heads arrive intact, and get pressed with little to no heat, what can bring a finer and more selected taste, also live resin is way more intense in the lungs due to the terpene concentration, while in live rosin i find it more enjoyable.

I've read that depending on the seller, legal butane hash oil can actually have much more leftover butane than illegally manufactured BHO, just because the current regulations suck and allow for almost unlimited leftover solvents.

Pacific Pine Cannabis has some fine ass live rosins up here in Wa. Their live rosin carts are a game changer. So smooth, tasty, great lasting effect vs fleeting effect from distillate. I find live resin leaves something to be desired for some reason

I’m fortunate to live in a state that has incredible quality control and regulations. The prices are very high… but so is the quality of 510’s distillates and live rosins/resin carts. It’s $40-$50 for a tier 1 510, and $60 for a .5g rechargeable disposable Live Rosin cart, but they get it to 78-80% thc sometimes. The one I’m smoking now is 73% and tastes amazing. They got the temp perfect.
