Guys, if you have the problem of your controller not connecting when it's on safe mode, just use a different USB cable that can charge your controller. Just keep using different ones until it works. Hope this helps 😁

Sometimes that error indicates that there's a blown fuse or even the bluray drive is faulty. It doesn't necessarily have a hard disk drive error

Thank you this worked! My crappy usb cable would not work sony is ticky with its cables make sure you use a higher quality one like the factory issued micro usb cable it fixed my controller sync issue
