This was happening to me a few months back just before Christmas.. I ended up having to take my console apart and replacing the thermal paste and gave it a nice thorough cleaning to remove all of the dust. It's been working great ever since.

I recommend not taking your console apart if you don't exactly know what you're doing but you can damage the console if you mess with the wrong thing.

But taking it apart just to clean it would be recommended. There are a few videos here on YT that gives good instructions on how to take it apart and put it back together properly. But mind you, it may affect your warranty.

GUYS I FOUND THE GO LOAD YOUR GAME AND WHILE LOADING DISCONNECT YOUR CONTROLLER AND THEN WAIT! THEN YOUR GAME WILL AUTOMATICALLY LOAD IN AND ONCE ITS LOADED IN U CAN CONNECT YOUR CONTROLLER BACK!

Yeah this dont work if as soon as i turn my console on it automatically says an error has occured. As soon as i press ok it just shows a stuck blue screen then powers down the console. Wtf?

So I downloaded Phantasy Star online new genesis and it up my ps4 I've tried updating turning on and off rebooting everything nothing seems to work? And also am ready to throw the damn thing out for got to add it's now going on 5 days now and still f....k up

When i click 5 seconds to power thing until hearing 2 beeps it needs to be at safe mode normally but it has the weird black screen and later it shows up to me to report the problem and safe mode aint even showing up, that means my ps4 is dead

bruh this happened the day after I had to update the system software, now it doesn’t even get past the sign in screen and shuts itself off or just shows the ps4 background but not the actual UI

Hello, I have tried every possible fix for this error and CE-34878-0.
Nothing is happening. Someone was suggesting me to change the RAM others were trying to change the HDD.
But again graphics of the game begins to break and then it comes back to the home screen.

PROBLEM SOLVED BUT IN MY WAYS!!!🥹🙌

I updated latest 11.02 version two times. First time when this version came & second time when I faces my PS4 slim hang, through safe mode (but idk why PS4 updated 11.02 version again if I already updated this a day ago) then again it shows this error [CE-36329-3] and giving options for "Accept & Report'' or "Do not report"... So I didn't done anything that time and turned off my PS4 that time but next day I tried to again restart then it will work properly..👍

Problem solved by after again updated my system software through safe mode and then turned off my PS4 for approx 10hrs.👍
