I assure you, the car is NOT moving faster than the plane.
It's simply the effect of what's known as parallax.
Did the narrator actually understand what he was saying?

As you move, distant objects (such as the plane) appear to change location slowly. It's why when in a car the moon appears to not move as you look at it. But objects close to you, such as trees and buildings speed past. That's exactly what's happening in the video.

3:40 - that is not the pilot. That is the back-seat rider in Angel 7; the aircraft designated for taking, other wise, normal civilians on thrilling rides "with the Blue Angels". One of the main attractions - intentionally pulling (up to) 9Gs of force in the F/A-18C Super Hornet. I believe, if you remain conscious through the entire 9G pull you get a unique pin bestowed by the Blue Angels.
