How to reset forgotten root password on Kali Linux 2022.1 | Step by Step

Steps to reset root password: 👇
1. Find the 𝐫𝐨 keyword in linux line and replace it with 𝐫𝐰
2. Add "𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭=/𝐛𝐢𝐧/𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐡" at the end of line
3. Press "CTRL+x or F10" to boot
4. At terminal, run "𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐰𝐝 root" to change root password
5. Run "passwd {non-root username}" to change non-root user password (Optional)
6. Run "exec /sbin/init" to reboot the system
