she had her eyes on the price, she could keep up with the bullies at school, she worked for everything she earned. how could that girl become one to throw everything away just because someone tells her he’s not impressed by her.

everyone loves season 1 Rory, because she reminds us of our childhood, our innocent, happy, fearless days. we dislike season 7 Rory because she reminds us of our mistakes, the detours we made, the times we didn't choose right, we didn't learn from our mistakes, our stagnation, not growing.
I don't hate season 7 Rory, I hope she snaps out of this rut

Speaking to the Dean at the dance situation - refusing to fight was actually a great showing of confidence and maturity imo. I’ve been in Dean’s shoes, and A LOT of guys his age would’ve gotten in the fight, but he kept it on a leash. And saying he would kill him if they did actually disrespected him more than the fight would’ve.

I am currently rewatching GG (one of my favorite/comfort shows) and watching this knowing what I know now the trauma in this show is THICK. Lorelei (and many of the characters) respond in Trauma and Fear ALOT. I’m so happy to have found your channel. I’m in the middle of the video right, you’re hilarious and yes sis the real do their own personal “La La’s” 😂

This show never really got better than season 1. “Rory’s Birthday Parties” to season 2’s “Bracebridge Dinner” is really an elite stretch. And it’s a shame Lauren Graham and Kelly Bishop never got Emmy nominations for this series. If Ally McBeal and Sex and The City were awards faves at that time this show should have been as well. And a lot of this show has aged better than those shows. Lauren and Kelly would have won multiple awards if this show wasn’t on the WB.
