In this Elden Ring Build Guide, I’ll be showing you my Bloodhound Fang's Fang build. This is an NG+ build that takes place after level 150. If you’ve been looking for a Dex build that focuses on the Bloodhound's Fang curved greatsword and its weapon skill Bloodhound's Finesse, then you might want to check this build-out.

I recently did my own Bloodhound cosplay. I added Frozen Armament. You’ll need 15 INT but being able to trigger bleed AND frost is pretty insane. It’s almost like having bleed x2 on your weapon.

I'm amazed that this weapon took so long, and even more amazed on how there's still not a Death's Poker build. Really enjoyed this one, thanks for it!

Used bloodhound for most of my first playthrough. Fantastic weapon.
I just love how many ways there are to play this game. I'm 800 hours in and still enjoy coming back with different builds.

I especially love this build because you get access to the weapon right at the start of the game. This might be listed as an NG+ Guide but you can totally pick up the weapon by level 25 or so and you're good to go for the rest of the game.

I was worried you weren't making any more Elden Ring videos! Thank God, you still are.

The first time I beat Elden Ring, Bloodhound's Finesse was my consistent skill that I could use to beat any boss encounters that I struggled with using other weapons. This weapon is incredible.

As a Bloodhound's Fang veteran, here's another stat split to consider, if you're looking to add buffs to your arsenal:
LVL 150 Samurai Class
V 50
M 20
E 30
S 20
D 75
F 20
I 9
A 10

You can play around with stats a little bit, maybe take 5 from dex and add to vigor, 5 from end and give it to str etc.
The perks of this stat set is that it lets you use 2 of the best buffs depending on who you're fighting - Bloodflame blade or Lightning Armament. If the target is weak to fire and/or bleed, you go bloodflame, otherwise you go for lightning, the AR gets ridiculous if you 2 hand it.

If you get bored, this stat spread allows you to use a huge variety of weapons, anything thats not Int or Arc locked.

I went through most of my first play-through with an Uchigatana/Nagakiba build, but after stumbling across this video, I switched to the Bloodhound after beating the Fire Giant. It was a pretty seamless transition, since the requirements are virtually the same. I am loving it.

I have used this build, but I buffed it with bloodflame blade

The legendary Bloodhounds Fang! I knew this build video wouldn't disappoint! And looking forward to more of your builds!

The bloodhounds fang also has great charged r2 attacks. The first one is a single wide swipe, the followup is a cool double slash. Good for building up bleed while punishing the bigger boss moves.

My favorite Elden ring weapon. Very versatile and deadly. I just add a brass shield for new game to utilize guard counters, the mimic tear to draw boss attention and melted Malenia in my second try. Truly an OP build.

I was a Souls Noob with Elden Ring who used the Fang for basically all of my first playthrough. I'd switch between it and Radahn's swords. So fun and satisfying when you land both hits of the finesse ash of war. Super flexible and powerful. Thanks for the guide!

It wouldn't be a Fextralife build without the aggressive play and damage taken because of it. Welcome back!

As soon as I got this weapon, it gave me a very similar feeling to the Farron Greatsword from Dark Souls 3. So i immediately fell in love with this beast. Good to see it was a great choice to make.

Been waiting for this! I've been using this for about 3/4 of the game.

Might as well wear the full bloodhound set instead of the raptor's black feathers if you are powerstancing, as the powerstance moveset doesn't receive the higher jump attack MVs so there is less incentive to incorporate so many jump attacks into your playstyle

Best video I've watched for this build, really easy instructions, been struggling with this game and picked it back up a couple days ago and got a new found appreciation for it and this has helped me out to enjoy it, thanks bro keep up the good work 👏

Great video! After beating the game 8x, trying all of the builds on YouTube, by far my favorite is a dex/int mage using bloodhounds fang. I also used a misericorde dagger with golden vow to buff and crits. Get dex and int to 80+ asap and use frozen or magic armament spell to buff the fang (or any greese) and dance between using spells for long range and the L2-R2 for close quarters. The fang scales with dex, and dex also increases spell/incantation casting speed. Win win.

I was actually scrolling through some bloodhound knight content, specifically to get some more lore out of the algorythm and youtube guides me directly to a fextralife build, i ve missed. And it was probably the best build this channel has evevr released.
