if you're struggling to beat the bloodhound knight, you can do Blaidds quest and summon him for it. He can easily solo it by himself. and doing this part of his quest is needed for Iji to sell the talisman that makes ashes of war cost less FP which is great for this weapon

This is pretty much my first Elden Ring character. Obviously I didn't know all the shortcuts. One more tip - on your way for Bloodflame Blade you can pick up Electrify Armament as well. It requires just a little bit more faith but the damage increase against enemies that can't bleed is imo worth it.

People seem to not know that you can kill the Fort Faroth dragon multiple times. If you run to the grace as fast as possible the dragon will die but when you sit on the grace, the dragon will respawn and you get to keep the runes. so you can rinse and repeat the process over and over until you got the runes you need.
