Two things I do not agree with you at all - Nonso actually doing 396.5->400, very unrealistic attempt selection, he is not an equipped ukrainian lifter from 2012, also for Timur, 30x1x300 you should think about how much fatigue does weigh accumulate, do you expect him to do 30 sets at rpe 7 for all sets? So he should be definitely be doing 380+

Euros this year and last year is actually "worse" in terms of competitors... Not that there Arent quality lifters... But the issue is the new schedule they changed last year, moving Euros to march from november/december...
A lot of countries nationals are in the beginning of the year, you got Sheffield in Jan/feb, ... So there are too many comps bundled together within a few weeks... Then you got Worlds in June and world games in august.. and then NOTHING until next year...

They are moving Sheffield to later in the year next year... So its spread from euros/worlds...
But the problem was having Euros and Arnold classic in the first half of the year... Lots of world Champs/podium lifters WILL continue to skip Euros at the beginning of the year if they need to qualify at Nationals within the same timeframe, or choose Arnolds for the cash...

As an European I find it funny when someone says "people don't seem to care about Euros" because in Europe powerlifters generally think Euros very prestigious competition and high level lifters have participated in Euros throughout the years. We've had great battles like Jurins vs Ena in 83's, Stendebach vs Ayendokun vs Hedlund in 93's, Anatolii vs Emil Norling in 105's, Pana vs Berglund in 66's. Lya, Turbo Tiff, Noemie Allabert, Marte Kjenner, Chiara Bernardi, Bobbie Butters have all won Euros and not always without a fight. I'd say this year we're missing some really big names because of Sheffield and Worlds being so close but at the same time Euros offer great stage for newer lifters who're eager to establish themselves
