It takes much longer. A week after surgery and I can’t see hardly anything. Doc told me my vision would be blurry but never said how blurry lol. It’s actually horrible. During recovery my vision got worse then when I had glasses. But thank God it improves. If u get prk and you’re the sole provider in your family, plan on being useless for at least 2 weeks.

been 2 weeks i got the surgery. left eye is less blurry compared to the right eye . i can see things further much better than things closer .

Thanks... It's been 3 weeks since my PRK surgery. Reading is still an issue. Hopefully, in another 2-3 weeks, I should be see clearly.

Idk why he said it'll get clear in a couple weeks. I've read that it can take 4 to 6 months for you to fully heal and have 20/20 vision. I had it done almost 3 weeks ago, and my vision has improved. But I still have issues seeing far. Like the street names are still a bit blurry. I do have moments that clear up and then blurry up again. And driving is fine as long as the sun isn't directly on my eyes. I suggest very dark glasses.

4 days post PRK. It's like I've been swimming in a highly chlorinated swimming pool. Cloudy. Still really blurry. Get my contact bandage out tomorrow. Hopefully it starts polishing up soon

4 - 6 weeks until this blurriness and double vision goes away? I can't see clearly close or far. This is a disaster 😢 I work as a teacher and this is really a disaster 😭

A year out from it and it ruined my life. It was the worst decision I ever made. I have so many vision issues now that can’t be fixed. I’m suicidal because of it. This man is a monster for promoting such a horrible procedure.

I undergo prk its 3weeks ago but still blurry my vision rn is 20/40 both but i hope this few weeks it will Be clear as promise

2 weeks in my vision is better than before withoit glasses. I can see a littoe more crisp than before, but not that much.
Using the computer requires me to lean forwsrd to see the letters.
There's no pain tho. Some minor disconfort.
I hope it gets better.

hi dr. im 16 days after trans prk surgery i was _2, _1.75 with 0.5 astigmatism, but now after surgery my vision is blurry especiall for near vision i cant read well phone screen or laptop. im worry before i was better for near vision. how long it will take i get my clear vision.?

Its been 4 months after prk contoura i was having 3D spherical and 1.5D cylindrical
Even after 4 months i am unable to see digital text just little far away i am seeing double. Before surgery i was having 490 corneal thickness
Will it take more time to recover or this is my final vision

I can see things closer with my left eye
And my right eye I can see things away better

Being 3 and half months after pro surgery . The right eye is perfect . However, the left eye is still blurry .

Its the 10th day after my prk, my left eye is clear but my right eye is still blurry which worries me thinking that it'll last this way.

Does travelling to an extremely cold temperature location 2 weeks post op have any impact to the recovery or vision post PRK surgery?

I got my prk surgery a month before. Vision improved 50% on the day of surgery.But no improvement after that. Regret doing this procedure

3 weeks after transPRK. It is a little bit different day to day. I think vision is 20/25 20/30. The main issue is ghosting. Far away big objects no problem. But close by and small objects are not sharp and difficult to read. I am not worried yes because it is just week 3 but I do hope it will get better. Funny thing is that I had a lot of problems with starburst before surgery but that is completely gone. Also halo's are almost non excisting anymore.
