Watch a webinar presented by Dr. Joseph Burrascano on the importance of using multiple approaches and methods when testing for Lyme disease and Tick-Borne Relapsing Fever (TBRF).

Borreliosis can refer to two distinct but similar diseases: Lyme disease and Tick-Borne Relapsing Fever (TBRF). Lyme and TBRF present significant challenges to patients and the medical establishment alike. Each disease is spread by several different subspecies of Borrelia, both share symptoms that can make diagnosis difficult, and both are growing in prevalence and spreading geographically. And in recent years, estimates from the CDC have shown that TBRF and Lyme disease are more common than was previously assumed.

In this webinar, you will learn the importance of using a reflex approach when testing for Borreliosis. Specifically, we will cover the following:

- An overview of Borreliosis (it's more than just Lyme disease)
- Reflex testing for Lyme disease, and the pitfalls of the CDC-recommended criteria
- Reflex testing for TBRF, and the importance of looking for more than just B. miyamotoi
- The importance of testing for all Borrelia (Lyme and TBRF) at the same time
Recommended tests and test panels

Dr. Jyotsna Shah from IGeneX will join during the Q&A.
