I have positive Ana a rash 3 years and just had biopsy. I have a hard time trusting doctors anymore. A million Doctors need 10 million patients. If we are well they are all unemployed.

I've had a positive ANA test for over 10 years now (have had it tested twice in that time). I have a lot of symptoms- high inflammation markers, joint pain specifically in my hands and the lower half of my body (hips, knees, ankles), fatigue, brain fog, GI issues and my symptoms follow a flare/remission pattern. However I don't have any more specific antibodies so I don't have any diagnosis other than inflammatory arthritis. It is frustrating feeling like something is wrong but not fitting into the categories and therefore it doesn't get addressed.

Could an ANA helpful for understanding potential underlying causes for what appears to be weight loss resistance? We are also looking a hs-CRP and a full thyroid panel (in addition to the standard blood tests).

my test markers for inflamatory diseases are not elevated enough for the doc to diagnose sjogrens, and fibro even tho my ophthalmologist and dentist have mentioned sogrens and GCA. so, i feel not all blood tests for markers show inflamation.

My ANA was weakly positive years ago. I have mild psoriasis and possibly hashimotos (positive antibodies, but tsh still normal). But no doctor said that would be the cause of the ANA

I would like to request an online consult. My daughter has a high ANA test. The Rheumotologist referred her back to her PCP due to elevated WBC. Her rheumotoid is negative and so is Lupus disease. What can we do next? Can I have her PCP test for parasites?

I’m currently on a gluten free diet and doing a strict Anti-Candida diet. I noticed I haven’t had a flare up of my connective tissue disease in almost one month whereas before I was flaring up constantly and for weeks and months at a time! Should I temporarily go back to eating gluten which I think is the major culprit in addition to overgrowth of Candida and Aspergillosis. Gut permeability is very leaky. I want to get an ANA test done but can results be obscured if I’ve gotten myself into remission from my dietary changes? I’m thinking I should back to eating everything I was eating before when my flare ups where making me sick i could barely breath and get out of bed. Any suggestions??
