Looking to pull some more power out of my 2012 Camaros L99, want to move over to an LS7 head but want to know if I use the LS7 rockers and lifters can I use the stock LS7 7.800 lifter rod or will I need a slightly smaller rod say 7.7500

I have a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 SBSC That has the 4.3 5speed but I just picked up a 6.0 4L80E combo. Not looking to spend a whole lot more as to I just bought a BTR stage 4 cam with a 3400 stall converter along with 1 3/4 long tube headers while trying to stay N/A with 600 HP goals before I go with a twin 40 mm set up with my 317 heads. The truck has 20inch wheels on it now but I plan on going with some 18inch all black dropstar wheels wrap in some Nitto NT05Rs, my question is should I go with different heads as in the 243s or just stay with my 317s? Is this 600HP goal achievable with the correct tune or no?

Been looking into ls motor a lot because I'd like to have an ls swap rx8 or 99-04 mustang. I was wondering what cylinder head would work best for a stock bore ls3 with a 4.8 vortec crankshaft to destroke the motor to just over 5.56l was hoping to make it a motor ready for boost but to be ran as an N/A set up as funds come.in for big boost. Anyways if you ready this far thank you for your time, and I hope someone can help me in this dumb idea to spin an ls to 9k rpm or hugher

Not sure if your still monitoring the comments of this video but I'll ask my question any way ...I have a lq9 with the stock 317s with dual springs and I'm running a very aggressive cam . Would it make more sense to upgrade my heads while it's torn down as I know these heads are amazing with boost but I'm running n/a keep in mind my intake rails and injectors are made for the cathedral port heads?
