At a loss, I have a 2002 LS 6.0 cable 3 bolt with a 4L85 going in a 1968 M-715, looking for the right kit.
Really like the ability to not be stuck with one kit that only works with 1 crank reluctor. That Atomic kit really seems like the ticket, then again the Painless kit is cheaper..

is there a vid for the "first start" guys like me who just put in a ls engine in a truck and want to fire it up? i know i need to turn VATS off, but what else do i need to turn off to keep my check engine light from turning on because i haven't installed rear O2 sensors or removed the EGR valve setup

I'm building a LQ9 6.0L with a "Elgin E-1840-P Sloppy Stage 2 GM LS LS1 LS3 Camshaft & Spring Kit .585 Lift". I have ported and polished the 317 heads for more flow. The engine is out of a 2004 Cadilac Escalade with a 4L65e transmission. I have the engine/transmission with the ECU. I'm looking for a kit that will get decent gas mileage as well as decent horsepower gain. The drivetrain is going into a 1951 Ford F1 pickup. The rearend is a Ford 8.8 from a 2000 Explorer (3.56 gears) If you have any recommendations I would like to hear them. Thanks for the help
