I love the fact that he loved the fact someone could come up with a wittiest response. I can see how he's so smart. He appreciates being corrected

I want someone to be as proud of me as Tyson was of that response.

I love that he loves being "shown up" so to speak. Shows he truly loves science and learning and that he loves people learning

“The day we have wormholes, we won’t need airports” is such a good reply tho. Well done to whoever said that

That amused little “Oh” is the sound intelligent people make when being corrected. Good example to try to follow !

I love how he enjoyed getting corrected. People like to joke about him over explaining things but he’s really just extremely passionate, and the fact that he can still realize where his shortcomings are is very refreshing.

Spreading the gospel:

Joshua 1:9 "have I not commanded you?Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you, wherever you go"

and the "ports" to get to use those wormholes are worse than those in airports :P

The problem with the concept of teleportation is that in a sense, it wouldn’t be “you” on the other side. If you think about how a computer transfers files to another computer, it’s not sending the “same” bits across the wire. It’s sending data that essentially describes what the file looks like and reassembling it on the other side. The original gets deleted (unless it’s copying rather than transferring).

edit: To be clear, I mean this as more of a philosophical or metaphysical problem rather than a technical one.

I love dr Tyson's enthusiasm while discussing stuff like this .

Teleport feels like it would be painful. I like the idea of just using wornholes like spacial doors across long distances.

Great example of how easy it is to overlook small details!

He did the paper thing. 😂

Who was the first person to do the paper thing to explain wormholes, quantum travel, etc.? Because it has become the gold standard for explaining nonlinear travel concepts, and they deserve that credit.

I like his explanation lol.

"You bend space, step in and viola"
Like thats so much easier to do.
Bending the fabric of space and universe itself so you can get to work earlier will surely not cause any problems to the world
