Leaving Roundabouts UK - Left or Right Lane?

Показать описание
If you have two lanes to choose from, should you choose the left or right lane when leaving a roundabout? In a previous video I demonstrated leaving in the left lane and some people commented that it would have been better to leave in the right. In this video I explain why I chose the left lane.

I passed my driving test today with 4 minors. When I’m practicing with my instructor I had been watching these videos and got more knowledge and used it when I’m practicing. You’re really brilliant!!!. If someone has their test soon, don’t be panic, try to watch all of these videos you can easily pass the test. Don’t be panic at test time, try to talk with examiner what are you doing, why are you slowing down and be a positive mind every time.Thank you so much, I really appreciate your support.

Just passed my driving exam a couple of weeks ago and my dad's been tagging along for all the rides so far since I've swapped from my instructor's diesel (Toyota Vitz) to his petrol (Ford Ka), found it rather difficult trying to start uphill, first couple of times I just kept stalling over and over. Watched some of your videos and I've gotten the hang of it within a couple of days!
Thanks a lot mate and keep up the great work!

Thanks Richard for continuing to crank out quality driving videos like this, especially on roundabouts where I struggled a lot to begin with! I passed my test today on my first try - picked up a few driving faults along the way, but nothing I couldn't attribute to nerves. There was no better feeling than being told I'd passed, and knowing that techniques I'd picked up from YouTube videos like yours had helped me towards that

Really great video Richard! - I often find on big roundabouts where you need to progressively move over lanes, the lane you're in often splits into 2. Then you can just choose which split to follow without having to change lane.

Thanks Richard for this video. Although I had passed my test in February this year, I was still having difficulty in this section as my city has many roundabouts - big as well as small. Now I will start practicing this.

Hi Richard. Greetings from Canberra, Australia. I just passed my driving test yesterday and wanted to thank you for your videos, which were a great help. In particular, I found your commentary driving video to be very useful to recall while undertaking the test. All your driving tips are well explained and extremely valuable. Cheers, Andrew.

I've just passed 3 weeks ago and for some reason I am still drawn to these videos. I think it's a good thing.

Really good advice again Richard 👍. Road planners in my area have a habit of putting up a road sign, suggesting that only the right lane is for going right.... So you move... Only to find the road marking show the middle and right go that way, as a new lane lane has appeared to the left on approach.
