Right lane in this situation is NOT an overtaking lane, it's also the safer option.

There should be a recognised symbol in the UK to indicate if a roundabout is spiral or not. They require fundamentally different approach

This is not your usal roundabout so things are different, normally after 12 o clock 3rd exit you should be in right lane but as this has only 2 lanes things can be different if roads signs say otherwise

For the people who are confused 'Both lanes takes the driver to M271' so he didn't really have to be on the right lane so in this case the right lane is for overtaking

M6 junction 7, you have to go all the way around the roundabout & change lanes, twice, just to turn left!

This works because the 2nd exit is not a dual lane if you would then proceed to keep going around to take 4th exit you would cause an accident
