It’s all about awareness, you can feel it when someone wants to hurt you

The best sign I've seen before a fight was a guy zipping up his pockets to make sure his phone doesn't fall out. Shit got real about 4 seconds later.

I agree with everything except for the last bit where you punch. I've tried this and had...mixed results. What usually works better is either of the following.

1. Throw an elbow. They're VERY effective and a broken hand sucks. Since most people don't condition train their hands for casual encounters, they're likely to hurt themselves as much as the other guy.
Or, my personal favorite
2. Take 2 steps back while drawing your pistol. If they see that and try to attack you still, fuck em. They know what they were in for, you just came better equipped. If they back off or run away (which is almost always the case) then just reholster once they're gone and dance around a bit.

There are between 12, 000 to 20, 000 non-suicide gun deaths annually in the US (a large majority of which are gang related.) But there are between 500, 000 and 2, 000, 000 defensive uses of firearms in the US annually, very few of which have a single shot fired. If someone knows you have a gun, they're far less likely to attack you. But if they do try to attack you while knowing you have a gun, it is more likely to be considered a justified use of force. Because if you get knocked out, the person will have a chance to grab your gun and use it against you. Just saying.

I've taught my son this;
But I'm still sending him this link.
Sometimes it helps to hear it from someone besides Dad.
Thanks Coach.

I been following Tony for awhile now and man the things I been learning have finally payed off . Today I was sparring with my neighbor and I used a combo Tony taught me and I dropped my neighbor strait to the living room floor . He said in his 82 years on earth he wasnt ever hit that hard . Tomorrow I'm gonna spar with his 50 year old daughter as my friend is too sore but he's looking for a rematch . Honestly he's gotta put up some money, I'm not fighting for free anymore, especially when I am confident I'm gonna drop him in the first round . Amazing stuff over here, I went from getting beat up by older ladies and now with the knowledge I've learned her, I'm dropping senior citizens all over the place . It's been awesome I feel so good about my skills
