Duck Hunt for NES on World's Smallest CRT (0.5'-12mm)

Duck Hunt for the Nintendo Entertainment System being played on the smallest CRT monitor ever made for consumer use. The size of the tube is 1/2" or 12mm.

I couldn't get any shots to register from the Zapper. Tried various contrast/brightness settings and various distances. Feel free to chime in if you have any ideas on how to get it to register.

The CRT was taken from a 1984 RCA CKC020 video camera.

No Ducks were harmed in the making of this video.

huh, I thought having a screen smaller than the light gun would mean that it was impossible to miss. I was wrong :D

I watched the entire 3 hours of "Frau im Mond" (the successor to Metropolis) on one of these. But it did still have the eyepiece which makes the picture appear as big as a movie screen... it did not have the camcorder attached though (it was totally dead).

Im assuming the white light is too small for the gun to pick up? This is hilarious LOL

Yeah - Acid Rook is on to something. Squares are too small for the sensor. You could grab an old lens off a DLP or Lcos projector from eBay to blow up the image. Might have contrast issues

My guess and im shure im probably right. Its the light out put. What the duck flashes white the flash is not bright enof to tigger the sensor. Basically the flash is to dim. We had a tv you had to have the gun almost right on it compared to other TV in the house. And it was designed the kids TV. I hated using it. The screen was so dark. Brightness trim didn't work.
