V Rising Boss Guide: Gorecrusher the Behemoth

This is the eight episode in a series that will cover all the bosses (known as V Blood Carriers) in this game.

In this episode, we're taking a look at another boss that carries a Soul Shard called Gorecrusher the Behemoth. This is one of the hardest fights in the game and it took me around ~10 times to kill it on my first playthrough.

I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't expecting content this decent when I clicked on a video with 16 views. Was mainly looking for build references or pointers for down the line when I take on Gorecrusher. Hella props to you man. Guide was on point and informative.

You're the only one I've seen that beat him with almost full hp left. Good show. Thought to be fair you had some pretty powerful buffs on you. Also, you definitely won't be getting any soul shards if you join a server that's 89 days old.

they actually made him easier now, i was going in expecting an open area to be dealing with his spam but instead he just patrols the forest now, this may seem like them making him harder but honestly they made him easier in 2 interesting ways:
1) Because the forest is narrow and he tries to predict your movements its quite easy to have him aim at a rock after the charge, and i mean rock as in terrain you cant destroy and mess up his pathing for easy reaper+crossbow combo, at first I thought that depending where it happened I would not be that lucky since I barely escaped him at literally 1hp when trying to lure him to the perfect location for kiting.
2) I was having troubles with cursed shrooms for that act for hmm... about a day and a half but with this boss because unless you leave a certain radius around him he wont stop chasing you... that allowed me to literally use him as a farm to clear the trees show all the shrooms and take all the cursed logs for double the shrooms, its my second time around and im literally aggroing him now to help me chop wood, crystals, silkworms(yes he kills the spiders too), ghost crystals and so much more, he is like a pet Labrador at this point.

Anyway this guide is outdated and this boss is literally busted for high end material farming since unless you leave his aggro radius you can literally chop down his entire patrol area by leading him around, enjoy

Ball lightning works wonders with reaper E and Crossbow Q and update the cuse of the forest is in effect unlike the spider cave so youll beed the shroud of the forest or youll lose sight of him which can kill you

Worked my rear end off and replaced the ultimate with Chaos Blast and the dash with Frost dash but IT WORKED dammit, took me 9 tries and got him as my health was dipping into the 10s and he had his illusionary buddy and 2 beasties out. this guide worked great though

you're on the right track and with all that in mind, I got somethin for you that can make it EVEN EASIER. Jewel of the Wicked Prophet. Chaos Volley. Frostbat. Veil of Frost. Don't worry about the ultimate.
18% leech + 11% move speed, 15% spell reset chance, 16% attack speed, 15% spell CDR. Dodging with ice dash gives additional armor, the spell leech is so great you don't need sanguine coil. use sanguine reaper for melee damage and dealing with wolves/bears. last thing, the triple dash the behemoth and it's "soulmate" does can be avoided on foot if you don't move until it's locked on. yw

this guy is a literal wall for me. tried doing this during a bloodmoon with all shard buffs, potion of rage, witch potion, and red rose potions plus 100% scholar, brute, or rogue blood and i get to the last phase where he spawns the ghost of himself, then i get wrecked.
