Im so happy to see that other people had a struggle with this as well! Up to this point, I only died twice to a boss in the game, this was the only where i had to try multiple blood types, I tried with 90% brute first, thinking the sustain must be enough but quickly realised the base movementspeed doesnt allow for dodging most attacks so tried rogue after and died *again* and thanbarely escaped on the 3rd attempt
Finally, I got him with 100% warrior blood, full bloodmoon gear, only small power potion on the 4th attempt
Used mainly crossbow to dps, swapping to reapers to aoe down ads, using blood dash and siphoning bolt along with the Chaos attackspeed boost/shield
Was an absolute gamer moment to solo and to learn to avoid the triple charge without using escape skill, I just wish the moment he summons his clone the music would swap to some heavy metal riff like in the final bossfight of Hades for example

The real question is how many times did you die before you learned his full rotation? Watched nearly all your vids and you seem so calm and knowledgable. Unreal stuff. GG

Today I fighted this boss on a solo server, and I had to say, yes, it's hard, but at the third attempt I made it. My gear was max armor ( I don't know the name in English I'm Spanish XD) but gear lvl 81, using reapers and the general scythe, that one that gives you spell power, and the blue gem. My blood type was 100% scholar. My strategy was to shoot the spells, void and the 2 shoots of caos, with the scythe, and use the habilities of the reapers to avoid the attacks, and even cancel the 3 charges using the invisibility. Just being patience and avoiding the attacks, you can do it 😎😎

Good lord, i wonder if ill even be able to do this one with my 10 thumbs :D That was very impressive! Most of the other bosses ive been able to either Purgatory myself enough to survive my fumbling or unholy shield enough to loose aggro for long enough, but with this one you really need a third missing escape button on top of your space dash & shield/defence. I did see someone go full blood & with deep patience spam heal thru & only do crossbow damage but still barely make it thru the final fase. Also saw one doing some dirty weapon switching & using the stealth from the slashers to hide & help with cooldowns. Also he does continue to fight you a little down the ledge, so perhaps i can try kite him a bit there as well.

Impressive. You make it look easy, but from personal experience this fight is hard as hell. I'm going to have to rethink my strategies and study up haha. I've been bashing my head against this boss for awhile now, to the point where it feels like I'm playing a friggen Souls game. Most of the other bosses I've fought up until now haven't given me this much trouble, though I'm glad to hear it's actually a somewhat hard boss and I don't completely suck LOL.

Do you actually think it might be a good idea to leave this boss for last and get the other two shards to help improve your chances? I'm also missing the final piece for a full Bloodmoon set. I use the Sanguine Crossbow + Sword since I don't have the schematic for the Reaper. The Reaper's E move seems to have the best dps scaling out of the melee abilities for PVE purposes.

Fun to watch, imo the hardest fight in the game though haven't tried Solarus yet. In comparison Winged Horror is quite the victim, we are playing duo and laid him in a first attempt.

Easier with the spear. Adds go down faster.. you can switch to the reaper when no adds are up.

combining this with high % scholar blood would probably inchrease dmg output greatly

I fought him more than 15 time and now you are telling me he has a clone in low hp. But thank you I was using some different strategies but this one look possible.

Impressive, but I'm not sure I even want to go through this seeing how the fight develops towards the end.
I accidentally pressed twice the weapon number during switching ending up with bare hands, instantly 24levels down and got crushed in 2 quick hits. Until that point I barely took any damage. With all the problems and bugs during the boss fights I think it's time to stop wasting time with V Rising.

In the server I'm in, the bosses have x2.5 dmg and x1.5hp, and the mobs have x2 dmg and x2 hp, and nobody killed this one yet, but not because the boss hits hard, cause the bears and wolves are too tanky, you can't kill the first summoning and the boss is doing the second one lol. My clan and I are planning to try to kill it today, but it's almost impossible.

this boss is cancer i cant defeat this boss without horse
