[V Rising] Solo MELEE ONLY Gorecrusher the Behemoth -- No offensive abilities, 100% hp finish.

This is a solo, melee only Gorecrusher the Behemoth kill done as a challenge.
The rules:
NO damaging offensive spells.
NO ranged spells.
NO shard buffs.
NO Blood Key.
ALL damage MUST come from your melee weapons and the majority of it should be from melee swings (no E kiting). I personally banned the reaper as well, cross bow is obviously banned.
Any ultimate ability is allowed except for Summon Fallen Angel and Frost Vortex.
Any blood is allowed.
Any dodge is allowed.
Any blocking skill is allowed (including those that deal reflective damage).
No horses.
No glitching or exploiting to get the boss stuck or unable to fight back properly.

So some of the hits i take are deliberate. I try to keep my HP bouncing between 350-450 so i'm constantly procing the brute blood attack speed and damage buff off the leech healing i do. For example, right before the spirit boss comes out i walk into that orb to chunk my hp down to 350 so i'm ready for that big heartstrike heal to guarantee a brute blood proc. I wasn't really able to capitalize off it though because the spirit went into their slam attack. But the idea is to play defensively when i'm at 350-400 with shields and dodging until i can leech back to 450 and hopefully get a brute proc for more dps. When i'm at 450 i play aggressively and withhold my defensive cooldowns until i drop to 350-400 again.

Edit: After rewatching the video i noticed the brute buff procs even off overhealing. So this strategy was apparently useless.

Something I've been working on is below max lvl clears. I'm at lvl 70 on my Styx+Winged Terror clear, and seeing this makes me really curious about what I could do behemoth at.

Nice work! I used a more standard Reaper/Crossbow, Barrier of the Damned, Chaos Volley build to beat Gorecrushl, so it's good to see alternatives. I actually did use the brute blood build to defeat Solarus, just with Slashers instead of Axes. I found this boss to be the hardest of the final 3.

Nice job! I was wondering if axes and melee would work on this boss. You easily strafe away from that slam attack he does with his arm. That attack always gets me. I'm just practicing with this set up using axes with slightly different abilities. Up till now used mainly the Reaper. Got 96% Brute blood - be nice to get 100%. Going to give this a try - haven't been able to beat this boss yet. I'm down to the last three bosses.

The server I play on has vblood set to 5x damage and 5x health. I have full blood moon gear and sanguine axe and can only take 2 hits

Took me about 7 tries to beat this boss, 7 very upsetting tries that I accidentally drained my 98% scholar to death because of how salty I was losing to it.
