V Rising - Gorecrusher the Behemoth | Solo Boss Kill (10 Levels Lower, Frailed)

Level 68 Frailed vs. Level 78 Gorecrusher the Behemoth.

Kill this boss to gain control of the Soul Shard of the Behemoth - a powerful structure that gives you access to a 2-hour buff for 50 garlic and holy resistance, 5% movement speed, and 20% increased resource yield. On most of the servers only the first person to kill the boss is able to get it, so being able to speedrun and kill it at a lower level gives you an advantage.

He also unlocks the Wisp Dance ability.

Gear used:
- The General's Soul Reaper
- Merciless Iron Slashers
- Merciless Iron Crossbow
- Jewel of the Wicked Prophet
- Dawnthorn Chestguard and Leggings
- Merciless Hollowfang Boots and Gloves
- Phantom's Veil

After countless tries without consumables, I decided to use Witch Potion and Potion of Rage for this one - mostly to get through the last phase before it escalates too much and I eventually get cornered without any avoidance cooldowns left.

In this video series, I kill every V Rising boss as 10 levels lower than the boss and 0% Frailed blood. Standard PvP rules.

I learned about the I-frame Slasher Move from you and man it's been a Valuable Assist to my arsenal.

Re-visited this video today, and it's more impressive than ever. No Pistols, no re-cast on ward. I miss General Soul reaper.

I recently was working on a speedrun strat that only uses base t3 gear (dawnthorn, silver weapons, blood merlot amulet) to sweep the shard bosses from winged horror -> Gorecrusher -> Adam, and then only uses the low level potions (bloodrose brew, enchanted brew, brew of ferocity) and whatever blood I can find around the map on the way to each boss as needed.

Honestly, Gorecrusher is significantly harder at low level than even Adam is in my experience. Even with semi-decent blood and low-level buff pots AND winged horror Shard buff, it took me like 6 tries to kill him. So far, I've one-shot Adam both times I've attempted him at low level.

As usual, its the DAMN ADDS. The DPS check you get in this boss by having constant add spawns is WAY harder than anything Adam can do. It makes the fight go from being able to react/deal with every single attack/pattern a boss can do, to juggling that WITH reaction time against the adds, and balancing damage on the boss and the adds. The last 8th of his HP bar is where I tend to get baited hard. I can't keep up with the adds, so I focus him, but then there's a million adds...

I am currently struggling with this boss, and I sucks at WASD control. I notice you put 456 as weapon only and nothing else. Isn't it closer to click 123 than 456 while managing WASD? or there is special keyboard that I am unaware of. Thanks for reading, you have amazing skill, respect!

the fact you got this kill while frailed and 10 levels lower makes up for any gap about the advanced potions you used. im at lvl 72 and this guy beats me into the ground like a bamboo shoot ready to grow. i hate using the slashers do you think this fight is managible with the chaos charge 2 magic bolt abilities the hammer for the flip away and a reaper? thats kinda my fav loadout to use.

He really isn't that bad, until the adds. I use two shield spells for him n just take it slow. But, the adds can add a good bit of damage, and you gotta kill em fast. So i typically end up just doing as much dps as possible on them, so i get hit a couple times usually.
