Not just the produce is rotten. I ordered a pack of burger buns from Walmart grocery delivery app and they were moldy when I opened them... that night.
Charm pricing doesn't work on me. I always round up prices when figuring out what I've gotten.

When my mom and dad, sister and I would go to sams club we would get every single free sample at least once and most of them would let you have a few if you wanted

when my mom shopped at costco, she bought a package of mushrooms, and didn't noticed the mold growing until we got to the car. She bought it back to the customer service counter so she could get anew one. When the service clerk sent one of the guys over she also said "Make sure theres no fungus on the fungus". Also, if you go to costco, stay away from the Einstein Bros Bagels, they won't last a week before going bad.

I work at a grocery store and can't speak for other stores, but for mine:

False:
- Most baked goods are fresh, in fact bagels and bread are fresh every day, any not sold by a couple hours to closing are 50% off then donated at the end of the day. Pies are kept for a few days.
- We don't hide rotten food, we actually go out of our way to try and find any perished or damaged food items to remove from display.
- The essentials are in the clearly marked isle and you don't have to look at too much to get there.

True:
- Charm pricing, this is true of practically anything sold.
- The most expensive items are at eye level, for certain. The best deals are often on the bottom.

Others I am unsure of, or are not applicable.

The local Chinese food takeaways here in Rural BC use mislabelled "pork button bones" as a cheap rip off "spareribs" and charge top Canadian dollar for the dubious pleasure of eating their foods.

I would go back to the store to return spoiled food. I work hard for my money that pays for that produce.

I stopped buying frozen chicken breasts for that very reason.
It says 5kg on the packaging but after getting home and thawing it 4.5.
Now I buy fresh and freeze them myself.
Falls a bit expensive but at least this way I know that I'm paying for 100% chicken.

Thanks for the videos team Babble🔝

💓🤤🤗😋😙💕
Be safe and STAY blessed everyone
