Seems the media is still in the unfortunate, decades-old, practice of ridiculing this phenomena.

Love how they turn a very serious subject into a laugh fest. Sad and disgusting, they want the public to find this all a joke apparently.

There are some inaccuracies in this report. The video of the purported UAP wasn’t provided by NASA but ARRO. And the UAP characteristics being a sphere and white or metallic etc isn’t just anecdotal—they explained that in some instances this was confirmed by multiple sensors rather than just eye witness.

After all these years discussing this topic without ridicule seems to be impossible

Kinda crazy how all these institutions are finally saying “hey look UFO’s are real” but we’re too distracted by other stuff to even care at this point

How did they explain the military footage

Any beings capable of getting to Earth from another star in a craft smaller than a city knows more about physics and engineering than we even currently think is possible.

I have 17 years as a navy and civilian air traffic controller and I witnessed multiple UAPs go from on end of the horizon to the other in seconds, they changed direction, hover and circle each other. I've seen them on multiple occasions with multiple coworkers. One day we had over 100 years of atc experience watching the shit show in our airspace while we fished of the coast.

WOW. NASA needs to update their cameras from the 1950s.

BS, jets don’t fly on the same track as the plane in front of them, they would be frying directly through the wake turbulence caused by the aircraft in front of it.

RIDICULOUS.... NASA completely disregarded the HALT MEMO created by Colonel Halt (The Rendelsham Files) of the U.S. Army who witnessed alien aircrafts along with 40 other military soldiers. HOW ABOUT the 2 POLICE officers, Kenny Downs and Kenny Graham from Louisville, KY, who were flying in a helicopter and witnessed a translucent circular object with a glow in the middle hovering and flying around the helicopter then taking off with hypersonic speed. They focus more on fake sightings. NASA should focus on legitimate sightings. IF you take the totality of all the reports, you can pull truth from them. For example, (1) triangular to circular shaped objects, (2) no propulsion system identified, (3) hypersonic and stable speeds in high winds that no known military or civilian aircraft can match. I say NASA is full of BS because they made a preliminary pre-determination that all the sightings were NOT alien BEFORE they conducted a deep review. NASA, YOU ARE FULL OF BS.

Noise aside, I still want to know what the Tic Tac UFO the US Air Force fighter pilot saw zig zagging above the waters near San Diego was. Curiously absent from what the talking head said about shaky cams.

What is more actually existing and millions of years ahead of us or no Aliens existing at all?

Assuming UAPs are exotic craft from "elsewhere" (extraterrestrial, interdimensional, other), even if government analysts were convinced of that, they'd have to classify it and lie to the public. The reason is that such technology would *inherently* represent a threat to national security. Officials can't say, "There's something here, but it's so far beyond us, we're helpless."

As someone who has a great interest in UAP's i certainly welcome NASA's highly critical approach to the whole subject, and i think their example is a great one to show how deceiving certain footage can steer you one way, while the opposite being true. The more scientists get involved on this subject, the better it will be for the field moving forward. The most important thing now would seem to be that the subject gets out of the taboo-closet it used to be in the scientific community. The CNN-folks didn't do their part for this progression in this segment honestly.

All i want is the truth. No matter how lame it turns out to be, now matter how spectacular it turns out. In the meantime, it's certainly fascinating as hell.

Believe it or not, this is the best way to look at it, with skepticism and not jumping to conclusions.
