What NASA's UFO hearing revealed

NASA on Wednesday held its first public meeting looking into UFOs -- known now as UAPs, or unidentified anomalous phenomena. A panel of experts came together to try and explain the mysterious sightings. CBS News space consultant Bill Harwood explains what investigators have discovered so far.

Anyone watching this just heard him say "the stigma makes people think Roswell and Area 51...". So this panel is studying UFOs but excluding Roswell? Area 51 is a real base. When western encyclopedias were updated to include Russian and Far Eastern sources on WW2 and Vietnam, hundreds of close encounters that were unknown to us were revealed many of which fall into the "strange-looking creature emerges from UFO and dies" category, many of them from England. Every government that had to deal with this kept records, artifacts and specialized personnel. Why didn't someone ask the panel if any of the cases included wreckage? What about the Kecksburg UFO that crashed on the same day an acorn-shaped Soviet probe fell from orbit? That wasn't alien-related and dozens of guys in NASA suits did the cleanup. So not one of these guys has any inside knowledge? Were they chosen by spinning a bottle? One can imagine during the Cold War the US might not want to disclose such a thing. Has the panel discussed that government personnel tell lies?

I saw 2 UFOs last month, April 2023, over the Gold of Mexico, right in the middle of the ocean. I was on a cruise ship's balcony, with 3 other friends, it was around 2:30am. I have several videos of it with location, time stamps and all. Truly amazing!

I don't have to wonder if we are alone in the universe. I know for a fact that we aren't! I witnessed a ufo in broad daylight against a bright blue sky back in 1971. It sat motionless in the sky before suddenly shooting upwards in three stages so fast that it looked like a special effects movie. It very closely resembles the craft which Bob Lazar later claimed to have worked on. I know without a doubt that the craft wasn't from our world!

There is no "stigma" attached to the use of the term UFO - Unidentified Flying Object. The stigma is attached to those "officials" and others who have long been unable to cope with the idea that Humans are not alone in The Universe. There are many sentient species that people distant planets. We may have no "data" or specific evidence, but reality is what it is. We are moving away from the stigma of the land of doubt and ridicule. All of the terminology in use refer to the diversity of what we "see" or observe by diverse means. It is stunning to see the people who can't cope with the concept freak out when the subject comes up - hysterical rants have not been uncommon.

I thought UAP stood for unidentified AERIAL phenomenon, not ANOMALOUS phenomeno. Could they at least have shown the dozen or so available valid data points?
