Thank you! this is how I learned as a child to do rolled hems on delicate fabrics, have just watched some very clumsy machine rolled hem videos classed as 'advanced' . Advanced as far as I'm concerned is hand stitched to a high standard.

Thanks for the excellent tutorial. The other methods I've seen for doing this involve the hem being rolled between the fingers first, before any stitching even happens, and depending on the types of fabric you're using that's just not always possible (especially if you're dealing with an edge that isn't on the straight of grain).

nice...thank you!  picky things that stand out from looking at multiple videos in preparation to hem my daughter's prom gown...your nails are nicely done and neutral w/o being distracting; nice contrast of fabric and thread colors to be able to see your stitches and filmed nice and close; calming and even voice!  well done!!
