I used to work for one of these. The way some people treat the workers really makes you lose faith in humanity...

I worked at McDonald's for 9 years, once had an elderly lady complain that she had an extra nugget in her 6 pack. So many ridiculous stories.

Everyone should have to have a wage slave job at some point in their life so they can develop empathy

This is totally accurate. I worked at a Wendys for 3 years, age 16-19. I developed a deep hatred for customers during that time. To this day, now 46, I still think customers are the worst people.

One lesson i learned in my life: always be kind and respectful to people who make your food.

As someone who works at one of these companies, I can painfully relate.

I worked at McDonald’s when I was 16 years old. I remember my arm constantly getting burned by oil splashing from the grill. I told my supervisor about it and requested to work cashier/drive-thru. Then a 50 year old lady co worker rolled up her sleeve to me showing burn scars and telling me to stop being a baby. These establishments don’t care about you and you’re just a number to them. Do what you have to do to make ends meet, but always be striving for more in life.

I worked in so many fast food chains before getting my actual job, i fell into depression. It was the worst depressing shit I’ve ever gone through. Respect to all the people who work there.

When I was a student, I worked for 4 years at a Russian McDonald's, which was the largest in the city. My managers were good people who thought I was a good employee. I didn't have many problems with customers at the restaurant, but one day my colleague was hospitalized after being beaten by drunken assholes. But working at the drive thru was one of the most difficult moments and is most realistically shown in this video. It's been 4 years since I quit there. I have a good job, but I still have night dreams where I work at McDonald's, and people scream at me from everywhere.

I worked at Mc.Donalds for 6 years. 2008-2014

Let me tell you, its soul crushing. My biggest issue was the Drama that played out. Coming to work was like a soap opera, a new episode everyday.
Whos fucking who, whos pregnant, whos back stabbing who ect.

Never again would I ever go back to customer service.

Man massive respect to Wojack for standing up for his friend. Very few people have the balls to do that but he did it 💪

I worked at mc dons for a year. Crushed my soul and weakened my sympathy towards people. Even when you’re genuinely trying to help someone and being nice, they’ll still blow up and treat you like shit. Its like being in an abusive relationship but you rely on it to live. People don’t like that grocery stores and fast food places are having self check outs, but no one wants that job at mc dons unless it’s their first job like it was mine

I worked at McDonald's from the day after my 14th birthday up until the day before I turned 16. A horrid experience, but those two years taught me so much. I think everyone should work a job like that at least once in their life. Gives you motivation to do all you can so you never have to work like that again 😅
