The thing with In-N-Out is that everyone has their own order. There's a lot of customizations you can add to your burger. Personally I like a Double-Double or Cheeseburger (depending on how hungry I am) without tomato but with grilled onions, not animal style though. With fries though Animal Fries is pretty much the only good way to get it

So, I always feel like depending on the chain location you're at it varies greatly.
Been to the same chain, different locations. One genuinely tasted better than the others, and these are only like 20 minutes away. Not sure what it is, but sometimes just notice things be a little different at locations, even though it's the same chain, ya know?

MILAD! I like getting double double no sauce extra pickles extra lettuce extra crisp bun with spread on the side, and always some fries. I used to get 1 fry hard to eat and 1 fry light to make later. But that’s just an option :p

My grandpa was the first member of my family to eat In N Out and that's when In N Out was new. My dad also loves In N Out. Lastly, when I was a toddler I was introduced to In N Out.
