I bought 30. So far 3/4 as bloomed and notice today it looks like the other 1/4 is going to bloom. I'm so delighted with the fun flower. I plan to plant 100-200 next year!

I really like simplicity of your presentation. I recently bought some bulbs and planted in a container. Hope in the fall will see some pretty flowers.

I am pretty sure these will grow in the area of California I am in....Very cool! I love saffron but it costs a lot to buy it, so I have considered growing it. Thank you for this simple, easy tutorial! This really doesn't look too complicated and the flowers are beautiful! Thumbs up!

EXCELLENT video with more info than a lot of supposed advice contains. I liked, for one thing, that she explained "3 inches deep" means 3 inches of soil above, not 3 inches to the bottom of the planting hole. (Not that it would make any difference for such small corms, but good to understand in general.) Sadly, some of the thousands of bulbs I threw out in re-doing the landscaping of a new property were almost certainly saffron crocus. :-(

Read Song of Solomon. 14
It talks about how their Chef's cook with Saffron and Cinnamon. And many healthy foods.

when / how do we fertilize saffron? None of the videos on YT cover this aspect of growing saffron.

Hi I have some doubts of saffron bulbs planting.
1. Do they survive in deep winter like snowy climate also?
2.Is it new Jersey, u.s.a. to plant it?
3.Is it good for planting outdoor garden in soil for snowy time in ground? Or do we plant it in pots and bring it inside when temperatures go down.
4.What are the good growing temperatures for a saffron bulbs or plants?

can you plant the saffron crocus korms in a raised planter bed and if so how deep and large of a raise planter would you need for 30-40 korms of the saffron crocus and what kind of soil and fertilizer to use?

What is the brand of that long trowel? I've not seen one like that before. Looks very useful.

I have dug up my saffron buds & they are all mush smaller & have triples in count. They use to be the size of my thump now they are the size of a racer on a pencil. I bought thirty now I have more than one hundred mush smaller can I expect all my buds to produce a flower next year
