63 YEAR OLD WOMAN SELLS HOME FOR LIFE IN A TENT

Some of the most interesting people I meet are nomads who I encounter in my travels. These nomads are male and female, all ages and all races. Some have limited means and some have a very healthy budget. The one thing, however, that they all seem have in common is a love for the outdoors combined with a thirst for new experiences. Oh yeah, they also seem to have a can do attitude!

Recently I had the pleasure of meeting Annette, a 63 year old nomad whose story I just had to share with you, my G.L.O.W. family!! She is new to the nomad lifestyle and had very litle experience even camping before deciding to follow her dreams onto the road. I have this gut feeling that Annette is going to be just fine, she’s a brave soul, she has taken care of others for 20 years(CNA) I suspect many elderly folks were patients of hers. As a retired nurse who have supervised many CNA’s I can tell you for a fact it takes compassion, I continue to reap great rewards from specializing in Gerontology my whole career. What a lovely interview. Great answer to question regarding “what would you tell someone who want to do this?” Most people say “just do it”. However, Annette gave a smart, practical answer. Loved seeing Lincoln and Billy-Jean, gorgeous pups! Safe travels to all!
