Cultured Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies #food

I get farm-fresh milk from my local dairy and I love turning it into different dairy products. Making my cultured butter is one of the most rewarding experiences. When my cultured butter hits the hot cast iron pan, the aroma takes me back to my mom’s kitchen and that's why I love doing it.
But besides that, it also had medicinal value. One thing I know for sure from my decades of cooking experience is that homemade cultured butter gives me a far better aroma and taste than ghee.
There are many versions of the classic chocolate chip cookies, thick and thin, soft and crispy, etc. But if you never made them with brown butter, give it a try. In this version, the brown sugar gets caramelized in hot browned butter and creates a depth of flavor. You will feel the difference and will love it.
