I was a plasterer in the city for 10 years straight. I used to cycle in and do eight hours of plastering and cycle home. I was fit as a fiddle a machine! watching you makes me wanna get back into it.

You're just getting any stray blebbs out pal...slightly different thickness of application sets at different times..sometimes leaves a few blebbs that need flattening..so when the light comes through those sky lights it's all flat...we get it boss...well some of us do..

Flat n matt that’s what I was always taught nobody thanks you for leaving it like glass you don’t get a bonus and the painters won’t invite you to their bbqs/pissups

Too many plasterers go over a plastered wall way too much.. an any plasterer looking for a shine on the way is doing no1 any favours apart from hurting your own body in the long run. Your skimming a room in a council estate, chill out.

I was taught you don't put water on. I was taught how to get a glass smooth finish using a fast set mix with dirty water.
