The higher ups are getting their golden parachutes so it's more than reasonable for workers to demand their pension as well

If you can not figure out how to fund the pension try some or all of these things.

1. fix the COLA to regionally calculated
2. 20% GWI day one then 8, 7, 5
3. 8% automatic 401k contribution
4. 8% 100% 401k match
5. 4% Christmas bonus in November not a ampp in February
6. Increase Paid time off by 25%
7. 1 LWOP every 30 days
8. Increase college program to 100% of top 10 Boeing desired degrees.
9. Increase 401k choice to 20 different index funds.
10. 15K cash only signing bonus.
11. Have all the things be applied to all overtime hrs.

I can't help but think that considering all of boeing's problems, this might not be the best time to strike.

Good for them. The Board thinks it is more important to office in Chicago and watch their stock price, than keeping satellites and planes safely in the air.

If Boeing is loosing 1 billion a month then people need to to start asking what is the pension really worth for Boeing to not want to give it back.

All fun and games until they get fired or Boeing goes out of business then they will be up shit creek without a paddle

It’s time for Boeing to leave Seattle.

I'm generally pro-union, but expecting them to bring back a pension is totally pie in the sky. Pretty much all corporations and businesses except the government have given up the pension system. Yes it sucks, but at this point it's crying over spilled milk. I doubt it's going to happen...

Bring Boeing management to its knees. WORKERS, you have the upper hand. DO NOT let the Unions try to shaft you. Believe me, Boeing management will blink first and cave.
NO PENSIONS, NO PLANES
Stay strong people, millions of folks around the world are behind you.

Boeing will buy Embraer & Spirit AeroSystems. For these 2 purchases are those 10 billions that are raised from the capital market.
It seems kinda costly to fly fuselages all the way to Brazil ... but the way cheaper labor force of Embraer factory (44 % of Boeing salaries) will compensate & bring larger profit margins. 🤔
P.S.: Jon Holden brought the union members into this trap ... and will keep them in there ... until they will wake up.
But it will be too late. The gates of the factory will be already locked. For good.

I think this is the best thing I could have happened all the employees there have been building substandard airplanes for years that are falling apart in the skies let's get a new workforce in there maybe they can build a plane that works the way it's supposed to

The percentage of "no votes" went down from the 1st vote. As strike drags on, they'll be fewer people on the picket lines.

What people dont seem to understand is these people are working to set a better living standard for everyone in the area. Non-union wages get set from Union wages. Worker rights are human rights. Dont get so butthurt these people are willing to stand up for themselves when you aren't

GIVE US WHAT WE WANT AND DESERVE!!!!
Boeing has the money to "reward" the last CEO for screwing up the company!!! Yeah, NO!!!
The hourly workforce makes or breaks the company!!
