Thanks for the video, I’m revamping my routine, I’m adding periodization after reading a workout book. That simply means changing your routine after a period of time, 4 weeks/5 weeks, the reason being is that your body and mind adapts to your routine after awhile, in order to keep challenging it-your mind/body-you change your routine. That change could be more reps, slower or faster reps, heavier weight or lighter weight with high reps. The beauty is that this is so flexible, before you know it you’ll be a lifetime lifter-I’m 57 and starting to look and feel good again.

Just what I was hoping to hear. Don't overthink it. Lift 3x a week. Be consistent. Let the results take care of themselves. I like to do other things, too, but that 3x a week lifting heavy is the non negotiable. Doesn't need to be novel. Just check it off.

If you aren't very careful, you'll DESTROY your spine and joints. EVERY SINGLE old man that has a wrecked back, shoulders, or knees always got that way from lifting
