Should you buy an older tablet? - Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 in 2023 Long Term Review

This device kicked off this channel and since then I still get people commenting that they have bought this tablet, years after it was released.
The tab s6 has been with me since then I don't think you'll get a better real first-hand long term review anywhere else. I'm on my tab s7 and my s6 I sold to my friend. My friend LOVED it! Most of his workmates are on iPad and they were amazed on what my friend can do with the tablet, basically leaving his work laptop to do all the work on his s6. I'm on my tab s7 and still haven't upgraded because it's so capable that I don't think I have the need to upgrade it yet. It does VM - where mainly my work is done. It has data so I can take my work anywhere in the world as long as there is signal and the performance is just good. It does everything I want it to do.

You can use the S6 as a second screen. You can to enable it. I use it all the time. Open “Smart View” then tap the screen about 5 times. This brings up another menu where you can select “Second Screen”

I have this and love it so much and i take care carefully my tab s6 and still looks like NEW 99%

Have had mine since 2019, still works great! Unless it breaks or explodes I'm not "upgrading" to a new one lol

Picked this up for the OLED screen, for some reason 99% of tablets are LCD/IPS unless you're spending close to $1000. This can be found used for $200-$300, simply unmatched for the price

Grabbed one up recently for a pretty good price, the 8gb256gb model and i cant wait for it to arrive on Christmas :D

Good review and fair comments...my Tab S6 has worked out very well for my needs. Last year I got my wife a Tab S6 from eBay and it has been flawless for her needs. I love the size of my Tab S6, the resolution is excellent, the aspect ratio suits my viewing. The feature I enjoy most is the 4x speakers and Dolby Atmos built-in. Some of these features are are not in the newer models Samsung now offers, at this size. I highly recommend this specific model. The reason it is hard to find, well, is because it is still serving users well. I'd buy it again, unless I decide in the future, that I want a bigger screen. Then, I'd stay with Samsung because I've enjoyed other models of Tab S over the years...they all are well made and worth the extra price. Blessings, all.

I have this one. I love the AMOLED screen for watching videos and movies, but my only drawbacks are the software version and the fact that it lags a little bit every now and then. Otherwise a great tablet even today

I just got one of these. Now looking at youtube to see what I got. I regret ever buying this Headwolf Android tablet. Had the worse touch gesture, and the stylus was almost never leaving strokes on the screen...

Mine still works just fine. Book cover keyboard case no longer works and it’s well used. Got minor scratches on the screen but i can’t see it when screen is on. Screen has fallen off of the aluminum frame but i just bought a T7000 adhesive for 2 USD and glued it back myself and works just fine. That SPen really is useful for note taking and it’s included in the box 😊. No screen burn-in. Stucked at Android 12 though. 😢
