Pretty sure the plane needs a complete redesign and recertification, there's been multiple reports of hardware issues since it was grounded.

Making the right noises but FAA has lost its credibility and it will take many decades before they can regain trust among the other international regulators.

That plane shouldn't be allowed to fly again. It's another sad tale of corporate greed to the exclusion of everything else. Boeing needs to pay a much heavier price for their transgressions. Two downed airplanes, all those lives lost and all they talk about is timelines on when it will be back in the air as if it didn't matter. Those people died for greed.

he FAA must reinvindicate and gain the lost prestige. First the controls must be within the highest safety standards in the world. If in this case the Boeing 737 max does not respond to these standards it is inevitable to ban this particular model in this way. the FAA would again be considered within the most serious of aeronautics.

Why not just remove MCAS completely and let the plane pitch up all it want instead of taking dive? Reclassify it 797 also

c'est les autres avions qui ne devraient plus voler. et c'est un accident digne d'une reccession deja passé.
