Boeing may yet face criminal charges overseas! This is not all about the American aviation market.

Their 'expert' is confusing the 787 Dreamliner with the 777X ! I sincerely hope that other aviation regulators in Europe, Asia, China and elsewhere do not simply 'rubberstamp' the new FAA certificate of airwothiness, especially in view of how they dropped the ball the first time round.

Software fix for a flawed hardware design. That's poor work philosophy.

That's funny I'm not sure why this wasn't done before

Unless they address all of the safety concerns/deficiencies besides a software fix there is no way I will ever get on this plane. This will not go well for Boeing as all we ever hear about is Software upgrade

you wont be able to know just by sniffing the software issue..just like that of challanger n volumbia

I NO understand. IF the problem was software(BS) then inspecting them one by one makes zero sense!

To the Boeing Company: The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that corporations are people. Congress can impute to a corporation the commission of certain criminal offenses and subject it to criminal prosecution therefor. In actions for tort, a corporation may be held responsible for damages for the acts of its agent within the scope of his employment, even if done wantonly, recklessly or against the express orders of the principal. While corporations cannot commit some crimes, they can commit crimes which consist in purposely doing things prohibited by statute, and in such case they can be charged with knowledge of acts of their agents who act within the authority conferred upon them.

This should be where the 737 production ends. Boeing 737 Max 8 should be scrapped. It's unsafe MCAS and structure have taken too many lives. There's no reason for it to be in the air.

Boeing is part of the military industrial complex and has worked on Alien Reproduction Vehicles aka “Flying swamp gas”. Why can’t they design a simple plane that conforms to the new big engines without software patching? 🛸 💨

Safety was NEVER a main concern! Profitability has always been the driving force.
I hope those in positions of power sleep well at night, too late for those who have perished.
Three cheers for the almighty $!

Boy, hope Boeing reimburses the American tax payer. And the European tax payer for all this certification work.

FAA hit the panic button concerning Boeing Max8, How about the Pilot's lack of training.
