As it is risky to treat a very young child, Dr. Lee asks her mum to bring the 5-year-old back in a couple of years to avoid any complications. On the other hand, the travel wasn't wasted as mum also has a concern she wants Dr. Lee to have a look at!

I remember having tonsillectomy under local anasethesia when I was only 4 or 5. A nurse literally grabbed me in his lap, wrapped his arms around me and held me in place during the operation. I didn't even feel any pain, but being held down, having my throat be numb and choking on my blood gave me a panic attack. My mom said I literally lost trust in her for a while and for a very long time I would throw tantrums whenever we had to see our family doctor. It was traumatizing.
