You're a car dealer, and you bought a range rover, even my grandson (15) knows they are junk, I do like watching you. You are straightforward and nice.

I've done loads of research and discovered the problem with your wifes car . It's a Land Rover product ! . Send the cheque for my work to the usual address 🤣

It's more likely to be the accumulator in the Haldex sticking and not the clutch plates . Thats why it went ok for a minute, the air introduced in the system when you changed the pump is 'squishy' on the plates. But as soon as the air is purged the clutch plates start to bite when the y shouldn't again. The easy fix is to reprogram the Haldex module so it takes into account the accumulator sticking. A new Haldex pump will often cure the stickiness but not always. Or change the whole Haldex as the accumulator can't be serviced.

The 2 most honest and trustworthy car dealers are both you and Chops, I wouldn't hesitate to buy my next car from you❤

Can I just highlight how far over the normal Lee goes with his sold cars. I'm currently looking for a car and dealers I'm seeing don't fix any minor faults, let alone preventative fixes that aren't immediate. Huge respect mate.

Hi Lee, sorry you’re having all these problems with your wife’s car. Can understand your frustration as you usually sort almost anything out. Hope the next thing you do sorts it. Thanks for filming this video.

Take the prop shaft off. The wife will never know!

Might be cheaper to get a new wife at this rate!

Hi Lee, had a Freelander with similar problems to your Evogue, nightmare, changed diff, haldex, propshaft and all ABS sensors before we got it fixed, two months later someone ran into the back of it when it was parked and wrote it off. Best of luck 🍀.

I had a manual evoque 2.2 manual on a 64 plate at 2yrs old, only had 12k on. Clutch juddered horribly mainly when cold. Took LR 4 months to find the issue, was a rusted shaft between the box and haldex unit apparently.

Although I didn’t mind as they gave me a Range Rover Sport to use whilst it was in so I was happy for them to have my Evoque!

In vehicle recovery business, the Range rovers we're the most breakdowns we attended to, personally wouldn't touch them.

Exactly the same as me Lee when LR replaced mine …. Mine had to go back and LR told me they then have to calibrate the system after replacement !!! … not to sure whether this was BS …. Buts that what they told me ???

Hi Lee, I can totally understand you frustration, you been a car trader know how bad and unreliable these vehicles are.Better buy a Honda crv or Toyota RAV 4, for the wife and get rid of that thing. Its only going to give you grief.

Lee, sorry to hear that didn’t work out, i did advise on the last video, where there any error codes in the ecu? . when you swapped out the diff was there any corrosion on the module, also inside it is a piston valve that can fail causing lock up and the dragging you are getting, take off the module connection from the main ecu to the haldex module( at the Haldex end ) - this may throw up an error code on the dash, not the pump connection, and take the car for a drive and see if the skipping has ceased, if it drives ok, then you can say that the electronics are for one reason or another, engaging the Haldex clutches at the wrong time, if it still skips, then thats more than likely a mechanical problem within the Haldex unit itself, either the clutches or possibly the pressure accumulator, you don’t want to go down the parts cannon any more with this, the piston sensor is about £90:00 or if you can put a multi-meter on it you can check if its open circuit. There is a place called Haldex repairs at Auto fault finder, call them and explain your predicament and im sure they can help you out, they can repair water damaged modules etc. or supply replacement parts, good luck mate, Paul.

Fixed plenty rear diffs on these, the Haldex sounds like it’s not releasing properly it’s going to be full of gunge which will be jamming the piston and increasing pressure. It’s either strip it fully and clean it all out or new haldex unit.

Hey Lee, I was so much looking forward to this video and finally finding out what was wrong with the RR but disappointed in the outcome. Hope those clutch plates are the cause and it is finally fixed and you get your beloved Aygo back 😀Good luck 🤞

I am lucky. My life loves her 20 year old 1.4 fiesta zetec climate that she bought new. Now on 62k and still drives good and looks good . Other than brakes and service items. Only problems were the air con which i renewed the compressor and condenser and a new clutch kit as the clutch started dragging and the infamous rocker cover gasket leaking. That along with my focus estate and the old Xsara picasso 2.0 diesel will probably be the last cars we own unless something really major went wrong with them. 😳. Enjoying the videos. 😊
