First Boot I've Seen Made This Way (CUT IN HALF) Ariat RigTek Review

Ariat RigTek Boot Review - Ariat is known for making some of the best work boots and some of the most comfortable work boots in the world. They also offer multiple safety toe boots including composite toe work boots and steel toe work boots. Most of their boots are built in a similar fashion to other work boots but when they said they had a construction type that I had never seen before that combines a good year welt boot and a cemented construction boot I had to cut one in half to see what’s inside and if they can combine the best attributes of some of the best work boots available.

You should start reviewing military surplus boots from around the world(Swiss, German, Russian, American, etc). That would make a fantastic addition to your already great channel.

No mention of any shank or lack thereof, and ya didn’t measure leather thickness. Those are two standards for you that you totally omitted.

Once the outsole is worn down, you can trim the heal and then sand the outsole flat and basically turn it into the midsole and cement on a new outsole. Works pretty well and you still retain some of the squish that you initially had with the softer outsole.

Remember for everyone playing the Toaster drinking game at home: If Toaster actually touches the boot, you have to chug your current drink. 👌😉

7:48 No shank which you oddly forgot to mention.

I had a similar pair to these and the only issue I found was that the sole got a little brittle and it became easy to chip away little chunks on the heel and edges. Very comfortable and after more than a year of construction work they were still in great shape.

You really should make your one perfect boot with your own hands for a video. And half of a second boot

Airit boots are the best I had a pair of work hogs last me 10 years. And they are comfortable.

I've noticed that you started "saving" the laces. Are you going to do anything with them, or are you just putting them aside to appease the people who would complain about you cutting them? Just curious.

Toaster the cat is adorable, such a boss kitty. Probably wondering why daddy keeps cutting up his shoes!

I’ve use this model and work in warehouse sales in South Tx (Hot) Cement all day . Cold storage, freezers - some acid - dirt and lists of waking. getting a new pair at 3 years because I have acid sports on the upper. Good comfy boot and cheap enough to be replaced every couple of years

I have some Ariat cowboy boots that I love. They’re far from my nicest made boots, but they might be my favorite pair. They’re so comfortable. I wear them all day even on long days when I’m walking a lot.

Rocky makes a boots that’s similar to this one. It’s called the iron skull lacer. You should cut a set of these in half to compare.

My OCD sure has enjoyed this channel much more since Weston began pulling the laces out of the boots, rather than cutting through them.

That boot is BEAUTIFUL! Love the leather and canvas look too. I like the sole construction and would sacrifice resolving for solid construction. I would definitely buy this boot

one advantage of the composite toe is you can get through metal detectors with them on unless the boot has a steel shank which would be good to know for people going through security everyday

Review Origin boots PLEASE! They are made in Maine with bison leather and are the prettiest boots I’ve ever seen if you like the look and character of natural leather. I really want to see this video as they are not too well known but seem to be an awesome company.

The more I see these the more they remind me of a wartime boot from the 30s or 40s. Very interesting

I've had a few pair of Ariat work boots, some of the most comfortable boots there are but within 6 months they're shot it seems. That is a nifty construction style though
