Slow Boot PC Fix

Quick fix for slow booting PC.
This works for Asrock motherboards and BIOS/UEFI but might work other boards, too.

The change you need to make is Under the Advanced tab - Legacy USB Support
Change the drop down from 'Enable' to 'UEFI Setup Only'.
You can also choose 'Disable' but that might cause issues using a USB mouse and keyboard before your OS starts.
Save and Exit for the changes to take effect.
Note that you're first boot after making the change might be still be slow.
Give it another restart to check if the issue is fixed.

Thanks to Redditor BeckerThorne for confirming my fix worked for him

Everything is so complicated now. The saying “ just turn it off and back on” doesn’t work anymore 😢

I sometimes have the problem that the PC takes a very long time to post. I press the power button, the fans spin up, the DEBUG LED for RAM and CPU lights up and after 30 seconds the PC starts normally... I have this about once a week.

The PC ran for 4 weeks without problems, just running the RAM at standard clocks now without EXPO and the problem still occurs occasionally.

I don't have usb configuration option in my bios, it's Asrock B450M pro 4 R2.0

My Bios desn't even have this option, it's just Enabled, disabled and Auto. I put in Auto and then disabled but nothing changed, my pc still takes about 15 minutes to start. Do you think updating the Bios solve anything? I don't know anymore what to do

Where can I find it at Gigabyte Z790 AERO G? My bios be restored to the oldest version cause the PC refused to turn on only beeps 5 times. It wasn't the CPU. It was the bios. Since it has been fixed, the post has been taken more than 17 seconds.... Not sure why..

The system falled to boot several times before. You may press F2 or DEL to enter SETUP to reconfigure your system. Or UEFI will continue to boot after 2 seconds.. that's what it says to me
