What Fujifilm Lens Should You Get? And My Favorite Lenses

Ay yo!

So I'm always getting questions about Fujifilm lenses! Well here's my general answer to most of those questions!

Thanks man. I really appreciate your videos because you've got so much character, you're just being yourself all out. Most photographers on youtube are like.. well first of all they're great people and I highly appreciate them as well, but they're mostly pretty nerdy. Like, indoor type of people. And I'm a bit of a nerd myself but I'd like to open up a bit more to embracing my own inner awesomeness and you inspire me to do that. I love how much technical knowhow you have that is based on experience and not on numbers. And I love the little inbetween tips like the one on making small videos. It's that kind of stuff that's gold to me. So thanks man, for being you and sharing what you wanna share. I just bought my first fuji this weekend and it's a game changer for me. It's embracing easthetics and fun over technical prowess and 'the best and the smartest'. I love how human these camera's are, and how they invite me to make art.

The square hood for the 23 f1.4 fits on the 56 and its perfect bro!

The 90mm f2 is a crazy good lens too, you just need some extra space, but you won't have a problem with that in the desert!

Hi. Great vid as usual. I got the 50-140 (and 1.4 x converter) a few months ago. Not picked up the 55-200 since. Images just pop more and are sharper. I’m only a hobbyist with a surplus of kit that far exceeds my talent but even my wife said you could tell it was worth it - high praise indeed!

Thanks for the great video, mate! One question: Do you have any trouble with the non weather sealed lenses in the desert? I'm going on a road trip through Arizona and Utah this summer and I really don't feel like bringing the 16-55 and the 50-140 because of the weight, but I'm a little unsure because I have little experience shooting in the desert and I wonder if weather sealing might be handy... Thanks in advance!

Cool man! I've definitely been doing more videos on my gigs. Been using Film Convert for the color grading. Love my 56mm and 90mm. I typically use the 50mm f2 for the videos.

Well the 18-55 is not very sharp at the wide end. At f5.6 it gets better but still! The rest of the Fuji lenses especially the primes are super!

You should seriously reconsider 90mm f2 as a substitute for the 50-140mm f2, 8. 
I know, that lens doesn't have image stabilisation, but it's razor sharp, half the price, half the weight, you get additional stop of light, and it's weather sealed too...
