It is light, sharp e cheap, I use it so much as 16-50mm too… like them very much…

The 16-50 is fine too. Has OIS, and focuses close up. Plus, super fast auto focus.. And very cheap.

I have it all the time on my eMTB on X-M1, it just exactly fits in the small bag. Of course PZ and no aperture ring are not my choice, but so light, wide and sharp.

I have no problem with the image quality, its great. But the electronic zoom is too slow and annoying to use. I dont know why fuji would just make them rotate manually, would be much better and save cost with electronics.

The 18-55 f2.8-4 seem a better choice for photography. But it is only my personnal point of view.

I was planning to pickup Xt30ii it was only coming with this kit lens which is why I was hesitant and waiting for a body only. Thinking otherwise now🤔

If not this lens is rendered useless as soon the zoom motor stops working

Image quality is good.

I would not spend a penny on this lens. This lens works best with XT200 coz it offers video stablization on this model alone.
