I love touch screens and flat buttons that you can't feel and force you to look at them while driving. Totally safe and not distracting at all.

Looks like a 4k repair bill in 3 years

They say don't look at your phone while driving. Meanwhile I have to look all over my car to find buttons that have no texture.

Sometimes I feel car manufacturers need someone in their offices to just ask them "but why?"

"We can't supply a manual anymore. It's too costly."
>does this

Overengineering in the past:
Bulletproof engine, transmission and chassis.

Overengineering now:
Bunch of unneeded switches, ready to break down.

They probably decided this would justify tagging an extra 15k to the price tag.

Bro the center console moving will allow for some quality road head 🙌

Exactly what we need, more buttons that are impossible to memorize by feel so you absolutely have to look for them. Perfect.

When cheap manufacturers do it, it’s called over engineering and when expensive ones do it, it’s called luxury. 😅

Getting closer and closer back to the good ol days when guys understood the value of the bench front seat

I mean yeah the button to open that little nook is weird, but everything else seems fairly normal. The console moving back and forward is pretty neat, I think more cars should have that function even if it's manually operated. It can be in the perfect spot no matter where you position the seat or how long your arms and hands are.

Camera angles were the only thing weirder than that crazy console.

Pro tip: don't film 50% of your film on a diagonal angle

I love looking away from the road to adjust the driving mode or air conditioning while driving

That's why I've driven an 03 Ford focus for 10 years and have only replaced an alternator and an idler pulley and serpentine belt. Has over 250, 000 miles and runs like a top with no engine light and doesn't leak or burn any oil. 2.0 zetec is a great little engine.

Because opening the glovebox with a physical latch is just entirely too much work
